1. Cadbury – Gorilla Drummer
Honestly this is one of my favorites, the first few seconds seem to baffle the mind, then once the ambient Phil Collins fades in, the anticipation grows. This commercial had me laughing to tears when I first saw it – the timing, and subject matter are just brilliant. Bravo Cadbury!
2. Chris Crocker – Leave Britney Alone!
OMG, we all remember this one – Fox TV immortalized Chris in his shreiking ‘ode’ to Britney. Crocker just nabbed a reality show off the buzz from the video (you have to be kidding me!)
3. Miss Teen USA – Lauren Caitlin Upton
In the pageant’s Q & A portion, Lauren was asked “why Americans are unable to locate the U.S. on a map”. In a cringe-inducing ramble, she provided a incoherent response to the albeit simple question. Her response was: “I personally believe that U.S. Americans are unable to do so because some people out there in our nation don’t have maps,” and further references “the Iraq” and “Asian countries.” Southern Americans please ave our educational system NOW before it’s too late!
4. Chocolate Rain -Tay Zonday
Tay “I move away from the mic to breathe in” Zonday is back with a Dr. Pepper corporate-sponsored updated version of Chocolate Rain and a new professional YouTube video. Here is Tays original Chocolate Rain video that got him to the heights of his viral video fa,e!!!
5. Iran So Far Away – Andy Samberg (SNL)
On opening night for the 33rd season of “Saturday Night Live,” a three-minute music video titled “I Ran So Far Away.” In it debuted! In the skit a crooning, piano-playing Mr. Samberg and a doppelgänger for the Iranian president (his castmate Fred Armisen) dance and court eachother — giving apparent lie to Mr. Ahmadinejad’s contention at Columbia University that there were no homosexuals in Iran, friggin awesome!
