I have flown Alaska several times. This incident was a while ago now, and such an incident would make me think twice about flying on any particular airline. However, I have to say I personally have never had Issues with Alaska. I have had issues with the MD-80 series though. I doubt I would willingly fly an MD again. Alaska has retired this series, although technically said issue could have happened with any airline. By now I would think Alaska has modified its procedures to avoid such an incident in the future. I am also sure that by now anyone who has been caught posting on this blog from Alaska computers probably doesn’t work for Alaska anymore.
