Web search giant Google Inc. said on Wednesday it had agreed to pay up to $90 million to settle a class action lawsuit over advertising fraud (click fraud) by outside parties on its site, in a bid to put the controversy behind it.The settlement stems from a lawsuit filed by Lane’s Gifts earlier this year in an Arkansas state court and is designed to settle all outstanding claims against Google for fraud committed using its pay-per-click ad system back to 2002, it said.
Does that mean any click fraud encountered since 2002 is not covered in this lawsuit? Very interesting… [Yahoo! News]

This is very cool, we just we’re accepted into the beta Gmail hosted domain program at Google. It has been very simple and easy to switch over, and looks really robust (especially for a free offering), we’ll report more soon after we take it around the block a few times, and kick the tires.
Thanks Google for yet another amazing app.

Finally, with much anticipation Kyle and I have launched the Someta.net website. This is our digital playground for all things Web.
The Someta Corporation was founded in December 2005 by Jeremy Hermanns and Kyle Bunch. The company is based in Los Angeles, California. We’re currently hard at work on our first two products — Searchgeist and Blogebrity 2.0. Both are being developed with one core objective in mind — to harness the awesome power of today’s often-misunderstood morass of digital information, and bring it to the masses.
