Agloco is Officially Dead!

10 12 2007

Read this:

Dear Jeremy ,

We would like to update you on the status of AGLOCO’s operations. We continue to believe in the AGLOCO concept, but our revenue is currently not sufficient to give Members a meaningful distribution. And though there are increases in membership, the resulting revenue is not enough to support operating costs. As a development team we are unable to continue to use our savings to fund the operations. If any Member would like to pursue continuing the operations of AGLOCO, you may contact us at agloco1@live.com .

We would like to thank every Member for supporting our effort to bring a piece of the Internet directly to the user. We hope that we can find a way to keep the operations going.

AGLOCO Development Team

Well Folks, you read it correctly Agloco is finally calling it quits! After a year+ of stringing us members along, a buggy viewbar that never worked properly, and horrid corporate communication - the Fat Lady has sung.

TBH this is a bittersweet end for me, I was a very loyal and extremely successful Agloco recruiter (never made a dime!). Not that it matters; but I was also in the Top 10 Globally with over 11K+ Members in my AglocoYou.com network (I will probably 301 them here soon).
See My Agloco account screenshot below:
agloco-logo-11877-members-20071210.jpg

What a mess! The whole software was crap since they launched, and they never really “fixed it”. These guys just took off and skipped out on their responsibilities - Ray, Akshay, Brian??? Shame on you guys (MBA’s Huh?)- especially Brian who is a BALD FACE LIAR, and led the Agloco’s false future plans to the Blog community here. Shoemoney has also written a short post about the Agloco demise, as well as john Chow here.

Shame, shame, shame…to all Executives/Founders involved with Agloco (the egg is on your face, how does it feel?) - Agloco could have been something big, you are the ones who floundered it.

Cheers,
Jeremy

AglocoYou and Me!If any of you know me personally, you also know I am a big promoter of Agloco - the user based online ad network. Well I wanted to announce the official launch of AglocoYou.com my personal site where I track Agloco signups and my personal network growth.

Every day I post a screenshot from my Agloco account screen, and document the progress in real time. This is a online experiment, as well as a side project to try to be a top referrer worldwide and prove my marketing ‘chops’ to everyone online.

Help Build AGLOCO - Beta Testers Wanted!

13 01 2007

Hey You!

This note is mainly to offer you a chance to help build AGLOCO – it is a Member-owned Internet Economic community.

Here is why I would like you to help. First – it is free. Second - it is quick and easy to join. Third – AGLOCO’s purpose is to get its members their share of the money generated on the Internet (i.e. you make money). And lastly – if you help build the AGLOCO network you can make much more.

Here is a link to sign up (it automatically records me as referring you with my ID BBBF0121) www.agloco.com/r/BBBF0121

AGLOCO works with a toolbar type software called a Viewbar. Privacy is very strict so no spyware, popups or spam.

As to how much money you can make, there is a study which says the average user should get $5 to $15 a month. (But less at the beginning.) Click here to read the report. http://simmonsreport.spaces.live.com

How much can you make helping to build the network? The Simmons Report predicts $30 per referral. I have 200, but a friend of mine RZ McCall has over 8,000. He has a great blog site http://mccallsnotes.spaces.live.com.

AGLOCO is in their beta phase which is the best time to help them build out the network. So please join now and help build the network. Have questions? Their website has all the details so go there www.agloco.com or please ask me.

Here is the Visual on How Agloco Works:
How Agloco Really Works...it's Genius!

Lets make some money…

What to do after signing up for Agloco?

7 01 2007

Agloco Own the Internet, Get Paid to Surf the Web!I usually get a few questions a week about my involvement with Agloco, and recently a few people have asked me “exactly how do I recruit?” in reality this is a very simple and important question. If you have a sizable network (50+) and feel it’s “stalled,” or are having a hard time passing the difficult 5-20 referral benchmark here is a list of my BEST Agloco Marketing suggestions:

- First of all, if you haven’t done so, sign up: SIGN UP HERE
- After that simply log into your account, and go to “My account”. Right below the button “Referral Center”, you’ll see “Your personal automatic referral link is: www.agloco.com/r/XXXXXXXX”. Right click, and copy this link and send it to everybody you know. You will also want to give them some useful information about what it is, I like to send them a detailed e-mail. That way, you’ll gain direct referrals, with more future earnings potential. I try to also persuade new recruits to do the same thing. That way, you’ll ALL gain many more extended referrals.
- That’s really all there is to it. The Viewbar, has not been released yet, so actually you can’t really do anything more to get involved (yet!).

Remember: RIGHT NOW is THE BEST time to look for possible new members. Once the Viewbar will be released, it will be very hard to find anyone, because everyone will already know about AGLOCO, and there is a very high probability they will be signed up too.

So start link-sharing and start your marketing efforts - don’t hesitate, Sign Up Now, TIME IS MONEY!

Why You Should Join AGLOCO™

8 12 2006

Dear Readers,

I recently joined AGLOCO because of a good (and wealthy) friend recommended it to me. I am now promoting it to you honestly because the idea is solid and I want to share what I think will be an exciting new Internet opportunity.

AGLOCO’s story is very simple:

Do you realize how valuable you are? Advertisers, search providers and online retailers are paying billions to reach you while you surf. How much of that money are you making? NONE!

AGLOCO thinks you deserve a piece of the action.

AGLOCO collects money from those companies on behalf of its members. (For example, Google currently pays AOL $10+ cents for every Google search by an AOL user. And Google still has enough profit to pay $1.6 billion dollars for YouTube, an 18-month old site full of content that YouTube’s users did not get paid for!

AGLOCO will work to get its Members their share of this revenue pool and more.

AGLOCO is building a new form of online community that they call an Economic Network. They are not only paying Members their fair share, but they’re building a community that will generate the kind of fortune that YouTube. But instead of that wealth making only a few people rich, the entire community will get its share.

What’s the catch? No catch - no spyware, no pop-ups and no spam - membership and software are free and AGLOCO is 100% member owned. Privacy is a core value and AGLOCO never sells or rents member information.

So do both both of us a favor: Sign up for AGLOCO right now! If you use this link to sign up, I automatically get credit for referring you and helping to build AGLOCO.

Thanks for your time, and please Check it out.

P.s.: AGLOCO has made a appearance in TechCrunch. Mr. Arrington does a great job analyzing the new start-up’s chance at success. Citing the former failure of the Founders previous company, All Advantage as well as other keen observations.

Get the Facts Straight on Agloco

1 12 2006

I know a lot of people have different questions about Agloco, so I have compiled a little Agloco Fact Document to answer any pending questions and as a resource:

Q: Is Agloco a scam?

A: No. The ‘development team’ has eight Stanford MBA students – not the type of people who would risk their pedigrees and reputations. Including two veterans Ray Everett-Church and Jim Jorgensen – both of who are well known enough to have Wikipedia bios. The ‘contributors’ include a couple of easy to spot people like; Gil Penchina, CEO of Wikia, Zaw Thet, CEO of 4info and Valerie Williamson a VP the Open Source group OSTG plus a few major firm law partners and venture capitalists – not scam types.

Q: Can I join if I am under 18 years old?
A: Yes. You must be at least thirteen years old to join. This enables many teens to earn money while working from home - awesome!

Q: Is this a Ponzi or MLM scheme?
A: No. It doesn’t cost anything to join, so it is not a Ponzi scheme. It is difficult to estimate what ad revenue per user will be, but it will grow substantially over time. A quick starting place for analysis might be a $10 to $25 per user initially and much higher after market matures.

Q: Is it a form of spyware?
A: No, Agloco is definately not spyware. There is a tool bar to install yes, but Agloco and it’s mission is 100% committed to privacy. They do and will not sell, rent or release your personal information to any advertiser.

Q: Do I have to click on ads to make money?
A: No… all you need to do is to actively surf the Internet with the toolbar installed for up to five hours PER MONTH, and get others to join Agloco to do the same. This methodology will minimize click fraud and other forms of “cheating”.

Q: How much money can I make?
A: We do not know how much money any of us will make initially. Agloco is a very new concept (similar to AllAdvantage, and the toolbar has not even been released yet. I can rest assure knowing that I did make money with AllAdvantage (the last company started by the same people), and that’s enough to get me be a proponent of their new venture.

Q: What’s all this about stock and ownership?
No one knows for sure, looks like we are going to be a “employee” owned company - so at least we are going to be involved in it’s direction. The specifics are foggy, but I will post the details as soon as they are revealed to me.

Q: After I join, where do I find MY membership link to pass onto my friends?

A: After you login, you will find your link under the green “Referral Center” button. It says:

Your personal automatic referral link is:
www.agloco.com/r/XXXXXX

Q: How do I join?
A: You can join by clicking on my membership link:

*If it asks for a referal ID, please use my member ID BBBF0121.

Cheers!

AGLOCO - Can I own the Internet?

29 11 2006

AGLOCO - Can I own the Internet?Okay, some of us remember how bad the AllAdvantage debacle was. And many users were left with no check, and some a pile of money owed to them - with no one to collect from. They called their model “infomediary“, and it’s basic premise was to share a large portion of their revenue with it’s users; and you know the rest of the story.

WE’LL IT’S BACK! And it’s name is AGLOCO

Yes it’s authentic, and ironically AGLOCO was conceived by a few of the former founding employees of All Advantage - so what’s up with the name? Well it’s an acronym for: is a global community. Now I am unsure if the name is 100% relevant, but I think the concept is solid in it’s execution.

Hear me out: it’s 2006, Online Advertising has grown 5X since the debacle of the first AllAdvantage network. In fact, online user behavior based targeting ad dollars have grown exponentially in yearly billings. My hunch, is if the founders are legit, and the company has a good advertising sales force, this could really take off - especially internationally.think about it, you can earn your “chunk” of the company through stock, and it’s going to be listed on the London Stock Exchange (AIM) - which adds a lot of credibility and consumer/investor appeal.

Check it out by clicking here, it’s free and can only make you money (doesn’t cost a cent). It’s a “win-win”, no brainer decision.

AGLOCO: The Internet’s First Economic Network

We all know that today’s hottest Internet businesses are all about the power of social networks. Companies like MySpace, Facebook, and YouTube have become worth billions because businesses have realized that these social networks are generating huge advertising and marketing opportunities. As these social networks grow, the economic potential for its owners – and the advertisers who target the site’s users – is remarkable.

Well AGLOCO, also asked a simple question: The users created the community, where’s their share of the profit?

It was from this question that AGLOCO set out to create the Internet’s first Economic Network, harnessing the power of Internet-based social networks to directly benefit the Members who help to create the community.

Becoming a member of AGLOCO is as simple as completing a brief sign-up page (name, age, location and email address.). Once you’re a Member, you will be asked to then download the Viewbar™ software. (Note: the Viewbar™ software is currently unavailable, as it is in closed testing. It will be ready for public download in a few weeks, and members will be notified when it is available.)

AGLOCO makes money for its Members in many ways:

- Search: Every time you use the Viewbar™ to do an Internet search, AGLOCO earns money from the search engine providers. (For example, Google pays as much as $0.10 on average for each search that is directed to its search engine.)

- Advertising: The Viewbar™ itself displays ads that are targeted based upon the websites you’re visiting. When you click on an ad and make a purchase, AGLOCO receives a referral fee, which we pass on to our Members. (Please note: Individual members do not receive any compensation for clicking on ads in the Viewbar™, and the Viewbar™ can detect if someone is clicking ads in a fraudulent manner.)

- Transaction commissions: Many major retailers pay commissions when you refer customers who make a purchase. AGLOCO collects that commission and passes it on to our members. (For example, Amazon pays an 8.5% commission to most websites who refer customers, and has cut deals for even larger percentages. The bigger the AGLOCO community, the better commission we can negotiate for our Members.)

- Software distribution: Numerous software companies pay websites to encourage the download of new software releases (for example, Adobe’s Flash and Acrobat Reader software), and trial versions of new programs. AGLOCO members not only get access to the latest and coolest software, they get paid for it.

- Service distribution: Many online service providers will look to the AGLOCO community as a source of new and active users for their services. (For example, eBay, Skype, and PayPal, among others, all pay fees to people who help them recruit new active users to their services)

- Product distribution: When Members agree to use a product, such as cell phones, high-tech gadgets, office supplies, new credit cards or financial services, AGLOCO can collect referral fees. Some companies even offer special rebate and cash-back programs.

AGLOCO Members make money in four ways.

1. Members earn a monthly share of the AGLOCO revenue based on the use of the AGLOCO Viewbar™ that month.
2. Members earn part of the company based on the use of the AGLOCO Viewbar™ that month (currently a maximum of five hours are rewarded). Click here for details.
3. Members who use our referral system to help build the AGLOCO network will earn more. (AGLOCO only has significant value as a large network and people who help build it should be rewarded. – We also feel that the early users who told friends about YouTube or MySpace or even Google probably deserved something too, but no referral system was available to record their work).
4. Members will also get a share of any commissions AGLOCO gets when a Member purchases a product or service from an AGLOCO Sponsor company.

Why should I join now?

- First, it costs nothing to Join Agloco and takes less than one minute.
- Second, you can help build the AGLOCO community by recruiting new Members TODAY

Right now, inviting your friends to join AGLOCO is as easy and productive as it will ever be – but you need to invite your friends before someone else beats you to them.

Remember, the bigger the AGLOCO community, the more attractive AGLOCO is to potential business partners and advertisers.
